General Manager Lindsay Dale

“This estate has a natural grandeur and a wildness from the surrounding forest you can feel from the moment you arrive here. The 120 year old olive trees, sweeping views of Napa Valley, the visiting wildlife - I'm in awe of this place.”

- Lindsay Dale, GM

At almost 1,800 feet and surrounded by forest on all sides, the Almacerro estate is the land’s end of Howell Mountain. There’s an untamed beauty and wildness to the area with its towering pine and oak trees, expansive views of the valley floor, and glimpses of the Mayacamas mountain range and San Pablo Bay.

We embrace our wild, natural landscape and our estate is home to creatures both tame and wild. Our wildlife cameras have captured some curious late night visitors, including jack rabbits, mountain lions and a gastronomically inclined black bear with a particular taste for our apples and beehives. Nature can disrupt operations at times, but we respect that we’re visitors on their land, not the other way around. As in all areas of our business, we embrace the wildness, and seek to live in harmony.
